Strahinja Sivčev grew up in Serbia, but he spent a significant part of his life living in China.
After completing an undergraduate degree in Sinology (China Studies) at the University of Belgrade, he spent one year in Beijing, at the Beijing Language and Culture University, where he honed and further developed his Chinese Language skills. Afterwards, he enrolled in the Master of Laws programme in International Relations at the Fudan University in Shanghai, PRC, where he completed the comprehensive coursework and wrote the graduation thesis on “The Evolution
of Serbia’s Foreign Policy towards China from an Economic Diplomacy Perspective: 2000-2016”. His areas of expertise and interests include, but are not limited to: diplomacy, poverty alleviation, culture studies (cross culture management), cyber security, CEEC platform, etc. He currently resides in Belgrade, Serbia.
