International Conference: “Mediation, Conflict Prevention And Resolution In The Emerging Paradigm”

The conference will bring together renowned academics, practitioners and decision makers to present views and exchange insights on mediation as an essential tool in addressing new challenges and threats to world peace and security. We will aim to examine ways of bringing culture and intercultural dialogue into mainstream mediation, to address new challenges in conflict prevention and resolution brought about by advances in information and digital technologies and changes in the media landscape, as well as to look at the comparative strengths and effectiveness of various mediation actors.
H.E. Mr. Ivica Dačić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia will open the conference.
Panel moderators: Ivan Mrkic, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Julian Harston, UN Assistant Secretary-General (Ret.) and Ambassador Milos Strugar, UN Senior Mediation Adviser.
Conference fee is 250 EUR and includes:
- Lunch for both days
- Dinner on the 24th of February
- opening ceremony cocktails/receptions

Conference will be conducted at Hotel M, Bulevar Oslobodjenja 56a, Belgrade.
Hotel M will offer special daily rates which includes:
