The aim of the course is to enhance specific knowledge in conflict analysis and mediation skills of the participants which could be successfully applied in emerging and ongoing crisis situations.
The training will consist of contributions by senior experts and practitioners in this field, facilitated discussions, and simulation exercises.
The content of the course aims to create a platform for an exchange of experiences, as well as the best practices and the trends in the field of mediation between participants and facilitators.
Course fee is 1,250 EUR and includes:
- training activities
- official dinner
- sightseeing tour
- opening and closing ceremonies’ cocktails/receptions
- participation at two-day international conference “Mediation, Conflict Prevention and Resolution in the Emerging Paradigm” on 24th and 25th February (prior the beginning of the course)

The course will be preceded by a two-day international conference “Mediation, Conflict Prevention and Conflict Resolution in the Emerging Paradigm” (24th-25th February 2018), which is organized in a partnership between Conflux Center and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. The participants of the course are invited to attend the conference free of charge.
Conference and Course will be conducted at Hotel M, Bulevar Oslobodjenja 56a, Belgrade.
Hotel M will offer special daily rates for conference and course participants which includes:
- Accommodation in the single room
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Transportation to and from airport
- Free Wi-Fi
If you want to book your stay at Hotel M directly, please request application form hotel’s booking service at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please emphasize in your message that you are attending the course and conference organized by Conflux Center in order to receive the special rate.
Please emphasize any dietary or special food requests!
Should you prefer, you can arrange and pay for your accommodation at Hotel M through Conflux Center. In this case, the full package, which includes the course fee and accommodation for seven days (from 22nd February to 2nd March) at Hotel M is 1,920 EUR.
Participants are free to choose other accommodation in Belgrade, but in that case, transportation to and from the airport, to and from the event(s) venue, accommodation and meals (excluding official dinners and cocktails), are their own responsibilities.
Transportation around Belgrade, daily allowances, visa costs and other associated cash emoluments for participants are their own responsibility or that of the organization which is sponsoring their participation. Health insurance and medical requirements depends on where the participants are residing, in accordance to Serbian laws, and are the personal responsibility of each participant.
